Dyed yellow-ish blonde hair to platinum/white?

I have naturally a medium colored brown hair, about a month or so ago I went to a salon and had about half the hair done blonde, and the rest left brown, so it wouldn't be damaged. Three weeks later, we tried to go for platinum blonde, and platinum blonde only appeared at the roots of my hair, and about one inch down. Please don't tell me to go to a salon, I already have and came out with a yellowish color in attempt to be platinum. I'm looking to go full platinum. A partial of my hair is already platinum, but the rest is yellow. I have a local Sally's Beauty store, and I'd like to do it on my own. What should I use? (ex; toners, bleach..) And any EXACT products names? Instructions, also?

After the treatment to my hair, any products that won't make it as fried? Keep the color pure?

Well if you want it pure white, there is a manic panic dye that will lift the reds and yellows from your hair, its called Virgin Snow

Just spoil yourself and go to a really uper class hair salon and get your hair done proffesionally if you want it to last.

You need to wait about 4 weeks before dying it again or your hair will get really damaged and could break (and fall out).  Try something that is designed to strip color.  A froster or bleach will do it.  Good luck, but please do this safely.

i kind of have a similar story recently..i just wanted blond hi lites and my mom screwed up and pretty much made my whole head blond, the roots got really platinum blond as well, i had to go to the salon to get low lights to fix the bright spots. but if you want all platinum just get a bleach kit, or my hi lites kit did the job it was from sally's too, l'oreal brand is what i got. but you may want to give your hair at least a short time before bleaching the whole thing again, that'll make your hair real dry.
