Dying a Saddle??

Question

Cost of dying a saddle either whole or just seat? and does it ome off and stain jodphurs once dyed?

take it to a local saddle shop.. they know how to do it properly and professionally. usually will completely clean the entire saddle... and since you have to take the saddle appart to properly dye it, you want someone who knows saddles well to do it so you know its done right! it may cost between $80-$120 but its worthwhile if you want to make sure its done right.

I would take it to a leather professional - even a shoe repair shop.  They know how to permanently dye leather so that it looks good and causes minimal staining.

I have never heard of dieing you saddle. Hmph you learn something new everyday! =]
