Question:

Dying alone. another poem of mine

by  |  earlier

0 LIKES UnLike

I have nothing in my life

Would anybody notice if I died?

Would I make noise if I fell to the floor

Since there is nobody around to hear it?

When will I die?

And how?

Will I die alone?

This is a choice I must make

Do I want to be alone?

Is there any point in finding someone and having children?

Questions I must answer for myself

Please help me

Because I'm usually a happy person

And now I'm getting sad and miserable

I love the pleasure of being with someone

And yes, I am afraid of living and dying alone

But I never ran away from my fears

I prefer to confornt them

I may die alone silently in the end

  1. I like poetry this is good

  2. Listen to the wise granny

  3. i dont care what others think but as far as i consider it . it was very good  and sad.

and i liked it a looooot.

  4. How do you reconcile this morose masquerade of a poem with your nickname (I am too good for you?) Come on! Stop being so patronising to the rest of us. And what are you so 'sad and miserable' about? If it's only yourself, it doesn't matter in the universal scheme of things.

  5. nice and depressing

  6. Ehhhhh. . . . .

Nahh, it sounds kind of too cliche,

    it's not that great. . . .

  7. It's not a poem, it's a ramble, which doesn't really have a point:

do you like cheese? yes they remind of mice. although mice are scary. but i like cheese.

Your poem is like that, minus the cheese

  8. Goodness me, what is the matter?

What is this nothing of which you speak?  Are you living in a barren desert, with mealie porridge day in and day out, and drinking dirty water whilst working from sun-rise to sun-set....I suspect not.

Please get a pen and paper - write two lists  - Positive and Negative of your life.....if your positives don't have the most things written on it you cannot be putting down honest answers.

Cover - access to hospital/doctor/dentist/optician, money, friends, relatives, natural things (sun, sky, clouds, trees, grass, bees)....I would need several foolscap pages for my positives, and half a note-pad for my negatives.

Sorry, not be be sympathetic - but, really!

  9. I have total empathy for you.  I always think and practically know I am going to die alone, I am getting used to the idea of it so it's not soo depressing anymore.

  10. This isn't a poem.

It's a morose and shapeless ramble.
