Dying my eyebrows? =S?

Question

I want to dye my hair blonde as when I was little it was blonde-ish . But because I have Very dark eyebrows ,they would stand out. I've thought about dyeing my eyebrows but my mum wont let me as she said it can do something bad. Ive forgotten. But can you please tell me what to do and/or if its safe to dye them?

You don't really dye your eyebrows you lighten them. I'm sure if you go to a salon to get your hair done they can lighten your eyebrows as well. You just put on a cream and let it sit for a few minutes. Obviously the longer you let it sit the lighter your eyebrows are going to be. You should let it sit for 3 minutes and then wipe it off and if its not light enough do it again for a few more minutes. That'll make sure you get an almost perfect match to your hair. Remember eyebrows are usually a little darker then your hair.

wow all of these people are full of c**p.

for the love of god, don't color your eyebrows with store bought hair color.

if its get in your eyes you WILL go blind.

if you want to lighten your eyebrows go a shade darker than the blonde shade you want. don't try to match the color cos it just looks bad.

go to a salon and they should offer that procedure with special eyebrow color.

Don't dye your eyebrows it's not safe. I've heard it can mess with your dna or SOMETHING I can't remember but if your eyebrows are that color your hair should be dark too. Or at least a light brown.

it's safe but i would never recommend it...my job is in beauty and every time someone has tried, it it failed and ended up looking terrible and they were completely embarrassed to be seen in public....not to mention if your eyebrows are that dark then your hair must be dark too.....trust me on this one when you going from dark to light it usually never ends up looking right and the color looks off.....i would just leave it alone
