Dying my hair with foils?

my hair is light brown and has had foils or "highlights" put in.

anyway. i want to dye my hair THIS colour -

(really dark brown)

my question is :

if i dye my hair at home, will the bits of hair that have been hilighted end up a different colour?

i want an even colour. no streaks!

  1. Nope ,it'll be fine.

    Although choose a permanent dye, cause if it's a semi permanent dye then after a few weeks depending on how olften you wash it, the parts that were highlighted will go a lighter colour.


  2. when you die your hair at first, it wont be streaky.

    but as the colour fads, you will eventually see the streaks. the streaks wont be as noticeable. they should look like natural highlights =]

      

  3. as the hair is not that blonde its only caramel the dark brown you plan to put on it will cover it evenly. no need to pre pigmentate it as it have a slight warmth to it already.

    if you find it does come out slightly lighter just re colour the bits that are lighter. but im 99% sure it will cover evenly if you apply it evenly!!!!
