Question:

Dying of soreness? ?

Ok, well I'm not literally dying, pretty close to it though lol.

Anyways, I've been doing volleyball nonstop and I'm SOO SORE and I have about a billion bruises and scabs everywhere. So I have a couple questions:

How can I ease this soreness besides taking a hot bath or stretching, cause I've tried those?

If I want to go and wear shorts, what can I do to cover up bruises and scabs on my knees?

Last question, I've been losing a pound like everyday, even though I'm eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's just that I exercise like 4 hours a day of volleyball. So is it unhealthy to lose that much?

Thanks! :)

P.S. I put it in this section because my main concern is how to make the scabs and bruises less noticeable...so should I use like cover up on them or what?

  1. You could try using liquid makeup to cover them up,  I used to do that when I had sunburns.

What you really should do is cut down on the amount of volleyball so you won't get anymore bruises and scraches.

  2. that type of abuse on body demands sports massages

they can use healing oils too for the bruises/scabs(like lavendar)

p.s. what is your water intake level?

  3. You could probably eat a little more, to keep your weight on. How about some knee pads?  You're young, so maybe try some tiger balm for the sore muscles,it stinks, but it works, and lots of sleep will help you recover.

  4. It's not unhealthy to lose weight by exercising. Just make sure when you eat your meals, its not just a bunch of junk food.

To get energy in the morning i would eat oatmeal and a banana, etc.

Also, make sure you take Motrin or  Tylenol around the clock, that will take away some of the muscle pain.

When your relaxing, such as watching tv, or on the computer, put an ice pack on the area that is the most sore.

You can switch for ice to heat, too.

As for the scabs, there's really not much you can do about that.

You could try cover up, but i doubt it will help.

Oh, and if your playing volleyball, i hope your wearing kneepads!

    I hope i helped you!!

  5. keep moving girl you dont stay stiff run more it will go away in one day or less in 3hr just move

  6. Try alternating between hot packs (heated up in the microwave, if you don't have hot packs just use a damp rag and put it on high for 40 seconds) and ice packs (or you could use frozen veggies I guess covered with a soft cloth so it doesn't hurt/freeze your skin). I love doing this and just relaxing after a long workout. Sleeping also helps your body repair itself, more so than when you are awake. Take Tylenol or what have you for pain relief. Those kinds of medicine relax your muscles and remove pain temporarily.

Just try not to wear shorts, and if you have to, it's fine because no one cares besides yourself. You have to wait for them to heal, you can't cover them up in any way - body make up can cover up bruises (go to the department store/mall, I'm sure they have it.. they have everything there). Might want to look into that if you're desperate. Scabs would show up either way so I wouldn't cover those if I were you - just let them flake off and healthy skin come in. To prevent scabs, put vaseline/something like it on a cut and then place a band-aid over the cut and vaseline to seal out the air. This lets it heal faster without a scab appearing.

It's just because you've been doing strenuous exercise that you are losing a pound everyday. You're probably getting rid of extra fat you have. If you want to gain back weight try lifting weights. And eat something if you become less endowed than you were. Bread makes you gain weight, if you want something in particular listed. If you want just fat somewhere on your body, eat some cheesecake. Make sure you get your daily vitamins too so that your body strength isn't impaired.

    Good luck!

  7. lol i thurt u were actually dying! i think u should stick plasters on ur scabs until they recover, or buy medicine or something to make them heal quicker. using make-up or cover up on them will just make them take longer to heal. try wearing socks or tights to cover ur bruises and scabs.

losing a pound a day in exercise is nothing 2 be worried about..u shud b proud! ur not losing it in any unhealthy way so its alright.
