Dyna-glo 20,000 btu blue flame

Dyna-glo 20,000 btu blue flame heater brought in 2002 from Tractor Supplyit won't ignite i have to light it with a match. Once I lite it the flame does not regulate properly the way it should.Can anyone help me? I called Tractor supply and they know nothing about problem solving just selling them.CHale
