Dynamo Dresden to face Borussia Dortmund in the German Cup second round game
3. Bundesliga side Dynamo Dresden are set to draw blood against the reigning Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund in the second round of the German Cup. The two teams qualified for the second round after Dresden defeated Bayer Leverkusen and Dortmund brushed
aside SV Sandhausen. The second round matches are due to take place on the 25th and 26th of October.
Dresden were 3-0 down in that game and made a shocking comeback to win 4-3 against all odds. Leverkusen manager Robin Dutt was left shocked after such a turnaround and refrained from commenting on the most surprising event of his career.

Loose was at first shocked after hearing the draws but vowed to be at his best against one of the toughest units around. The Black Yellows coach Jurgen Klopp was pleased at the prospect of facing Dresden but reckoned that each side is tough when it comes
to games like these.
In an interview to a local sports channel, Loose enthused, "What a shock, this is madness! We have drawn the hardest team from the pot. As we all saw in Dresden against Leverkusen, anything is possible in the cup. There are worse things. We will rise to
the occasion."
The Dresden boss told that his side are excited at the prospect of facing the young German champions and would definitely do well against the Borussians. Ralf Loose believes that if his side work upon their defensive lapses then they might prove to be dangerous opponent for the enthusiastic Dortmund side.
