Dynamo Joe hot favourite for Nottingham’s Caffreys Sprint Trophy - Heat 1
Dynamo Joe’s recent efforts suggest that he will easily be able to bang his rivals in the opening heat of Caffreys Sprint Trophy, taking place at Nottingham on Monday, June 18th.
The black dog is in sublime form these days. After showing plenty of good work at Nottingham, the dashing hound travelled to Coven, where he continued his good work.
After missing the gold medal narrowly, C. Weatherall’s trainee got back to the winning ways and registered two consecutive wins earlier this month.
In his last appearance over 263 metres, Westmead Joe’s son presented an impeccable show, sealing the first place by seven lengths. After such an emphatic win, the maverick runner’s confidence is sky-high.
Among his rivals are: Murlens Crash, Monleek Town, Olympic Honcho, Is That Yourself and Master Tobias. The 305 metres flat race will be kicked off at 20:22 (GMT).
Murlens Crash has not done anything wrong over the last few weeks. Since the start of this month, the brindle dog has been running well, but in defeat.
In his last outing, Crash’s son was outsmarted by Ayamzaman. After getting bumped at the first bend, David Pruhs’ charge was in no position to fancy his chances.
Monleek Town ran well at Nottingham last time. The black dog was unlucky to miss the crown by a few lengths. Although the hound has enormous talent, he cannot be recommended for the top rank, because victories seem to have dried up for him.
Olympic Honcho will have to make a lot of improvement to beat this line-up. The black dog is making his Nottingham debut today and might take some time in adapting to the conditions.
Is That Yourself is unlikely to do something special against this line-up. P. White’s trainee was fourth in his previous appearance at Nottingham.
According to our calculations, Dynamo Joe has an obvious chance of seizing the first place. There are many dangerous runners in the line-up and therefore, the black dog will have to give his best shot. Murlens Crash looks to be the biggest threat to him.
We wish the best of luck to all runners.
