Dynamo Moscow boss Sergei Silkin glad to win against Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Premier League
Dynamo Moscow’s caretaker manager, Sergei Silkin, has expressed his delight over the win against travelling Lokomotiv Moscow at Arena Khimki.

Sergei Silkin, who took over the Dinamiki reigns in a caretaker capacity following the resignation of Miodrag Bozovic, was delighted with the way his team played against a tough opponent. He hailed the team spirit in his squad as they romped
to victory despite being a man down for almost an hour.
Speaking further, the 50-year-old revealed that June was a good month for Dynamo as they also held the league leaders, CSKA Moscow, away from home in a 2-2 stalemate.
Silkin was optimistic about continuing the unbeaten run once the league resumes after the summer break. He also revealed that he had been monitoring the youth at Zenit and wants to instil a winning mentality amongst the youngsters.
The tactician, who also won the UEFA Cup with Dynamo Moscow in 1988, explained that youngster Aleksandr Kokorin had mixed emotions after the match and he should start playing more disciplined at his age.
Silkin was not surprised with Andriy Voronin’s performance and praised the effort he, along with the squad, put into the game.
The caretaker coach appreciated the will amongst the squad and enthused that he would be looking forward to more of the performances that have landed the team a third place in the rankings. Dynamo Moscow are just a point behind Zenit St. Petersburg and 5
points behind the league leaders, CSKA.
