Speaking on the win, Shunin hailed his side, revealing that they deserved to win the tie because they were the better team on the pitch during the second period.
“It was a difficult match. Volga were the better team in the first half because we played with three defenders at the back. They initiated quick counter attacks. I made some decent saves as well.
“But now we will play against a big team, so we need to be careful.” The 25-year-old shot-stopper was quoted as saying.
