Ecuadorian midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Noboa-c9105, has expressed his satisfaction after his side was being awarded with all three points in the controversial match against Zenit St. Petersburg. Former Rubin Kazan player, Christian Noboa, has backed the decision made by the authority imposed by the Russian Football Union, saying that he is satisfied with the ruling of three points in their favour.
The Russian Premier League tie between Dynamo Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg which took place on November 17 at Petrovsky stadium last year, was stopped by the chief arbiter Aleksei Nikolaev in the 37th minute when the score was 1-0 in favour of Muscovites.
The match official had to abandon the league fixture after the Louders goalkeeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Anton-Shunin-c6283, was hit by a firecracker thrown from the stands. The goalkeeper was quickly taken to the nearby hospital after sustaining injuries.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport has now awarded all three points in favour of the Moscow-based club after reviewing the video evidences showing that St. Petersburg club fans were involved in the incident. News in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 media suggests that the authority will now reportedly impose a fine of 500,000 Rubbles ($ 38,000) to the defending league champions along with an order of playing next two-matches without spectators.
The Moscow-based club have been benefited by these points on a large scale as it helped them in moving to the sixth spot on the league table behind Kuban Krasnodar and Rubin Kazan respectively.
“I hope everything turn out good for the Moscow-based club with respect to a good finish at the end of the season. I think we can try for the third position,” the former Rubin Kazan player as quoted as saying. “It would be very strange if they have awarded the points to Zenit because we did not create problem in the match and secondly we were leading the tie by a goal to nil at that moment.”
With two games remaining until the end of the ongoing campaign, the Russian outfit can still claim a UEFA Europa League berth season and Noboa is of the belief that his side is more than deserving to play in the European tournament next season.
