Dan Petrescu has told his side that Spartak Moscow will give them a tough time in the Russian Premier League after their UEFA Champions League elimination
Dynamo Moscow were denied a chance to complete their last Russian Premier League tie against the defending champions, Zenit St. Petersburg, at Arena Khimki by the officials on Saturday after the fans aimed a firecracker at Anton
Shunin from the stands.
The match officials had to abandon the match following an injury to Shunin, who was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Dinamiki goalkeeper reportedly escaped a serious injury despite being a latest victim
to the racist activity.
However, Shunin has been advised by the doctors to take complete rest in order to avoid a foot injury.
Dynamo head coach, Dan Petrescu, has lamented the incident and urged the Russian football union to penalize the people who are behind this brutal, intolerable and questionable activity.
However, the Romanian tactician is of the belief that the sad incident will not affect their performance in the upcoming league tie against Spartak Moscow at Luzhniki stadium on Sunday.
