The former CSKA Moscow striker urged the Dinamiki to win the upcoming Russian Premier League game against Kuban Krasnodar
Former Terek Grozny manager, Aleksandr Tarkhanov, has insisted that Dynamo Moscow need to end the Russian Premier League campaign on a high, by winning the last match of the season against Kuban Krasnodar.
The Louders have struggled to rediscover their decent form from the start of the season, and have had a below par third league round, having failed to win their opening four league games.
Dynamo’s recent slump in form has prompted star players to leave the Russian outfit during the summer. Igor Semshov and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andriy-Voronin-c6020 are most likely to depart from Arena Khimki in the summer transfer window.
The fact that Dynamo are playing poor football at the moment, prompted http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Igor-Semshov-c16748 to publically criticize the Moscow-based club earlier this week. The 34-year-old defender refused to shake hands with Silkin, and went straight
into the locker room after being substituted at the hour mark against Spartak Moscow.
Worse still, the Musora dropped to the 4th spot in the standings after a 2-2 draw against Lokomotiv Moscow at Arena Khimki. Reports in Russia suggest that Dynamo will sack Sergei Silkin, should they fail to claim
a UEFA Champions League spot this season.
“Rubin deserved to win the cup tournament as they were on top of the opposition.
“But Dynamo can still qualify for the champions League.
However, we must remember that in this case there must be three conditions: first, in the final round of the championship, Rubin must win against CSKA, and secondly, Spartak should claim a draw against Lokomotiv Moscow
and third, the white-blues should win against Kuban.” Tarkhanov was quoted as saying.
Tarkhanov admitted that that the White-blues face a test of their character when they play against Kuban Krasnodar on Sunday, three days after their shocking Russian Cup final defeat against Rubin Kazan at Yekaterinburg stadium.
The former Torpedo Moscow boss lamented Dynamo’s latest cup defeat against Rubin, and admitted that club needs to win the last game of the season against the Cossacks to end their season on a high.
