Dynasty warriors 5 empires- i cant get any new weapons?

im on zhang jiao's thing. im still stuck on level 1 weapons. how do i find new ones?

man you have to kill alot of people on this game you have you have to kill the general on the other end in order for you to upgrade your weapons ever we have a cheat disc it is called code break it is a yellow disc in has over 15,000 cheats on it in it will help you with your game you would have infinite health in never ever have to worry about dyeing ever you even would infinite musou which mean you can kill them chinese generals alot faster in faster upgrades on your weapons in make your body guards stronger to you can finish with your game in 12 to 14 minutes in whack every body other than your own people to death gamestop $19.99  :)ava06

Weapon drops are pretty random.  They usually only come out of named generals and not lower level lieutenants.   The level of the weapon is also pretty random, but the more difficult the map, the more powerful the drops usually are.

Honestly, I get more out of the abilities on the weapon than it's stats, but I've found better than level one weapons anyway.
