Low zinc levels below normal will tell you if your son or daughter or even yourself has a learning disability. Such as dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, and Autism just to name the basics. (yes a simple blood test)

  1. Oh, good, someone has solved the mystery...

I'll just be giving my kids zinc pills then.

  2. I've hear of the silver bullet syndrome but never the zinc bullet.

There's no such thing as a silver bullet one size fits all cure. Different parts of the brain are affected in this spectrum disorder - cerbral, visual and auditory cortex may be mis-functioning. Zinc is not the cure. It's not chemical imballance, it's not a simple behavioural problem. Its a congentital disorder.

  3. You have received some misinformation. There are tests for the above conditions, but checking zinc levels are not among them.

No, each disability requires a different kind of instruction. Children with autism have a communication disorder, so much of their instruction is language based.

Children with ADHD have a disorder that makes it difficult for them to attend to instruction, so they aren't language impaired and need short instructional periods and hands on instruction.

People with dyslexia have a learning disability that makes it hard for them to learn to read. They need instruction that gets around the disability.

Can you see why there isn't  one size fits all instruction?
