  1. You may want to try acetate overlays in different colors and see if that helps. You may be having problems with Scotopic sensitivity that make the words look jumbled. It is often associated with dyslexia also. check out http://www.irlen.com/ and http://www.dyslexia-test.com/dyslexia.ht... for more information to see if either seem like what is happening to you.

  2. It's possible, but it's also possible that you're having simple eye trouble and need glasses.  Ask your parents if you can maybe have an eye exam.

Don't keep stuff like this from your parents.  That's what moms and dads are for, Grace!  Good luck to you.

  3. Being homeschooled isn't going to change the problem. It's important to inform your parents of what is going on. Ask them to request an evaluation for an IEP for you.

  4. I think you should tell them.  There are some things you can try- have you ever seen words in a certain light that worksbetter for you?  Try sheets of tinted plastic (like folders, etc.) in different colors to see if any of them makes words stay put.

  5. tell ur parents wat u feel nd tell them that u wanna meet a doctor.

I've heard that dyslexia could be overcome.....besides..u knw....albert einstein also had dyslexia when he was small.....
