Dyxlexia and children?

What sort of toys would be good for dyslexic children? i heard of bingo? how about a rubiks cube?

  1. Not word games as one person has suggested.  These will only highlight the difficulty the child has.  Imagine someone giving you a game which you had no chance of ever winning.  

    My own son is dyslexic and enjoys playing many games  both board and card games but he has never come to enjoy any word game.  Even to this day where he is in his 20's and after getting an A level in English.  

    Buy toys which are fun first.

    word cards trhat yo put together to make sentences-also in puzzle form

    there has been some research on getting the halves of teh brain to work together-

    a divider is placed between teh students eyes and he has to do teh same thing woth both hands-simultaneously...

    so things for hand eye coordination-coordicating both sides of teh brain
