http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Dzagoev’s agent claims that Tottenham Hotspur are the latest club who want to land the attacking midfielder’s services.
Chelsea and Arsenal are among the few clubs that have been linked with the Russian. Despite Russia’s pre-mature exit from the Euros, Dzagoev, having scored 3 goals in Euro 2012, has had an impressive tournament and caught the eye of many through his attacking
displays. He was especially brilliant in the 4-1 thrashing of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Czech-Republic-c2882 in Russias's opening game.
Dzagoev also had a very solid campaign for CSKA Moscow in the Russian League last season, scoring 5 goals in 31 appearances and grabbing numerous assists along the way. The player has bee previously linked with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Chelsea, but recently, Dzagoev’s
agent and father revealed that the player could end up at White Hart Lane. Dzagoev’s father stated his desire to watch his son pen down a new deal at CSKA Moscow, but believes that he could well be the first signing of expected new manager Andres Villas-Boas.
The former Chelsea manager is expected to be unveiled as the new boss this week and Dzagoev looks like he'll be joining him there.
Currently, Dzagoev is said to be valued in the £15million bracket and there is much debate about whether his contract at CSKA runs out this year or not. The player himself has stated the desire to test his abilities and look for a new challenge, with Chelsea
being his preferred destination. No matter what team, the Premier League looks like the most likely destination for the 22-year old playmaker.
Dzagoev’s father also stated that he wanted his son to make a collected and rational decision and not to rush things. Speaking to an English newspaper, he is quoted to have said; "I don't know if he will stay at CSKA. There are offers - from Spurs and other
foreign clubs."
"But I tell him not to hurry. Yury Zhirkov ran off to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and sat on the bench."
With the departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857 looking eminent, Dzagoev could well be on his way to White Hart Lane this summer as his replacement and the fulcrum in Tottenham’s midfield.
