Dzagoev denies Anzhi transfer and tips Zuber and Milanov to shine at CSKA Moscow – Football news
CSKA Moscow attacking mid-fielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Georgi-Milanov-c14617, at the Moscow-based
club.
“I would like to once again draw the attention of fans and the media that I have no official pages at social networks and Twitter, or anywhere else. If I will decide to leave my current club, the information will appear on the official website of CSKA. However,
some people continue to use my name, and there are those who believe them. Once again, to clarify: I am not ready to join Anzhi and I will not like to give any further comments on the subject,” the UEFA European Football Championship Top Goal scorer was quoted
as saying.
Reports in Russian media have linked Dzagoev with a move to the mega rich Russian Premier League club for the past few weeks. Sources stated that Dzagoev wants to leave Luzhniki stadium this summer after a possible rift with head coach, Leonid Slutsky.
It has been further reported, on social networks, that the player has stunned the Moscow-based club after handing in a transfer request.
However, the Russian International rebuffed such stories, confirming that there is no truth behind the transfer saga and his potential rift with Slutsky over lack of playing time.
Dzagoev has long been the subject to transfer gossips and stories after the player’s eye-catching performance both at club and national level. The former Krylia Sovetov Samara man managed to score seven goals in 24 league appearances last season.
The fact that CSKA have signed classy players such as Zuber and Milanov during the transfer window convinces Dzagoev to say that the Russian outfit is making the right steps in order to retain the league title next season.
CSKA managed to sign Zuber from Grasshopper while they convinced Litex Lovech to sell their attacking midfielder after offering a lucrative deal last month. Dzagoev is of the belief that the new signings will help them win the Super Russian Cup against Zenit
St. Petersburg at Rostov-on-don.
