Manchester City’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini has gone on to hint that Edin Dzeko could soon be on his way out of the Manchester based club, given the way things are now working out for the team.
This season Dzeko has found it a little hard to come to terms with the way things are going at the club. He has managed to make only twenty three appearances for the team, but has scored an impressive twelve goals in that period.
However, he is slowly being pushed towards the exit door at the club, with the team seemingly not feeling that they need to keep a hold of him for much longer.
It was previously hinted that the striker was going to be on his way back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904, but those speculations were put to rest earlier on in the week.
However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has now gone on to admit that nothing is for certain, and that the striker could leave should things play out in that manner for him.
The City boss is quoted to have said: "Edin is an important player for us"
"At this time we have not spoken about the transfer market as there are still 10 games to go.”
"But in June anything can happen. If a player asks me to leave, we will evaluate the situation - this applies for all players.”
"Dzeko, for me, is a great player. In http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 he could score more than 20 goals a season but he would cost €20 million (£17m), maybe more."
The manager also went on to take out the time to highlight the fact that he never had a fallout with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 before the striker was offloaded to AC Milan. In fact, he admitted that they were just playing a game of football, and that the media went
on to make the most of the situation.
"Those were lies reported by the tabloids and photographers who were here, because there was absolutely nothing," he insisted. "We were playing a training match, we were playing in opposing teams, he made a foul and I shoved him and sent him away.”
"Mario has improved but I think he won't change at all; he will continue to make faults even when he is 30.”
