Manchester City striker, Edin Dzeko could be on his way to Bayern Munich, with his agent trying to consider the possibility of the move going through.
Over the last couple of weeks, Dzeko had been linked with a move out of City. However, he repeatedly insisted that he was not going to be going anywhere and that he would fight for his spot in the team.
However, the player’s agent seems to have talked to the Munich officials over the possibility of a move, with both the parties seemingly being more than interested in helping the move take place.
The Bosnian international went on to join City in the winter transfer window of 2011. He was signed by the club for almost twenty six million pounds, on a contract that is set to run out in 2015.
During his stay with the club, he has managed to make an impressive forty two appearances, while bagging eighteen goals along the way.
With him now having to fight for a place in the team, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez being picked ahead of him, it seems like he may have finally realized that it would be smarter to move out of the club.
When asked about the possibility of the move taking place, the Bosnian’s agent responded by stating: "Of course not! It's crazy even to comment on that"
Dzeko started off the current season on a high, with him being a crucial part of the City squad. At the turn of the year, all of that seemed to change, with him falling down the pecking order and with the other players at the club being given the nod over him.
As a result, in 2012, the striker managed to make appearances as second half substitutes, during which he still managed to impress.
Nonetheless, the forward has admitted that he wants to play regular first team football, which he can’t seem to get at City.
In order for him to save his club and international career, it seems like the only logical move would be to leave City and pursue a career elsewhere, where he is guaranteed first team football.
