Manchester City forward, Edin Dzeko seems to be intent on staying at the Etihad, after his agent confirmed that he was happy at the club.
Over the course of the last couple of months, Dzeko has been linked with a move away from Manchester City.
The striker seems to have fallen down the pecking order at the club and in 2012, he hardly managed to make the same impact that he had at the start of the season.
As a result, many believed that the forward would be on his way out, given his form and inability to make it into the team’s starting eleven.
However, on the last day of the season, Dzeko came off the bench to score a very crucial goal, which helped his side get level on goals with QPR, only for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero to score a few minutes later and help City win the league.
As it stands, it seems like winning the league has changed the striker’s opinion about leaving the team and he seems to be more than content about sticking around for as long as he can.
The forward’s agent, when talking about his future and his commitment to City is reported to have said: "Everything that is being said about Edin's transfer away from Manchestery City is purely speculation."Journalists have to write something, that is their
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 and I understand that.”
"But let's be serious, Edin is more than happy at City and there is no way that he would go somewhere else.”
"Let's stop talking about transfers right away."
The striker has been linked with moves back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 and to various teams in the Premier League.
Despite him suffering a dip in form, it is easy to say that his footballing abilities are still there and that he can prove to be a real threat, should he be given time on the pitch.
Nonetheless, with the season just ending, it may be too early to predict what the striker is going to do, but should http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 prove to him that he is a part of the team’s future plans, he could just end up sticking around at the club.
