Like a massive conductor fully coated with that conductor material . Yet the electric field is zero inside ?

  1. E field is zero whether or not it is hollow or solid

  2. E field is zero inside a hollow conductor, if it is not hollow, but solid, then the net E field inside it is zero ONLY if the charge density is constant (hence the charge is uniformly distibuted about the conductor  so net charge is zero)

Since it is a conductor, it is expected that the charge will distribute itself as such, due to electric attraction/repulsion, but if part of the material was to have less conductivity than another part, charge would not be uniformly distibuted, and there would be a net charge, and hence E field inside the conductor.
