Okay, I just graduated from Middle school today, and I am ready to be a freshman at Highshcool, but I do have this one problem...

I am leaving one of my favorite teachers behind, and I wouldn't mind to keep in contact with her...I was wondering If it was appropriate to email her..Is anything wrong with doing that? I mean I do not want her to lose her job or anything..that would be awful!

What is the best thing to do??

-Best Answer WILL Be Given!-

Thanx alot in advance!!

  1. I think it would be completely appropriate to email a former teacher on her school district email address.

The CONTENT of your email is what you might want to carefully consider.  Having said that, I always enjoy updates about my former students and enjoy hearing about their successes.

  2. you should have asked her before school let out, but since you didn't, i think it would be fine. my daughter writes to one of her old teachers. it's not against regulations in nys, you probably should call the school, or the board of ed in your district, and ask. i imagine there are still secretaries and stuff at the school, if you just got out.

  3. i e-mail my teacher all the time....and i still have her for 2 weeks......we talk about everything but school....she said she will add me on myspace the day school ends too.....

  4. Yes. Most cirtenly.

  5. you could...but i wouldnt..its a little wierd to e-mail ur junior high teachers after u graduate..sorry ...maybe you'll find a new fave teacher..but if you really like her then keep contact if u feel like its a big deal...do what you feels right
