  1. Hi there,

Malaysians can use Paypal. The myth abt us cannot use paypal is OVER/KAPUT.

Paypal is the best method to receive money instantly compared to TT transfer.

It's simple & FREE to register at www.paypal.com

But to enable receiving funds from other paypal users, you MUST add a valid debit or credit card. Preferably Visa Debit Card.

The recommended Visa Debit Card that's available for Malaysians is Public Bank Debit Visa Electron. You only have to own an IC in order to own a debit card. No need credit checks, no need to proof salary.. it's so simple.

Walk into Public Bank and pay RM25 for the registration and wait for about 4 - 6 weeks for it to be processed.

Once you got your card activated, maintain at least RM35 in it.

Link this card into your paypal. Go through the 'verification'. The verification is important so as to increase your receiving limit.

If you have enough funds in your paypal account, you can 'transfer' or 'withdraw' to your debit visa card (paypal charges USD$5 fee per withdrawal). Withdrawals are limit to USD$500 per day. Once the money is in your card, go to an ATM machine and withdraw like your normal ATM cards.

    Good luck.
