  1. you can discuss anything eBay related on their forums.  I warn you though that there a bulliers on there who can spin your comments and then insist that others block you.  But hey, who cares anyway if they block you?

I was under the impression that on eBay the feedback function is to express what occurred.  I did that once but wasn't aware that eBay then lets that seller respond back.  The responder lied and spun his comments and then I was unable to get that removed.  eBay said the seller would have to be agreeable to removal and he was not, he was out to blast and ruin me.  I took it further and asked that eBay's negotiator get involved and they refused because the seller refused to discuss it further.  eBay said the ONLY way I could get the seller's nasty and false remark off my account was to provide "a certain" form to the court so the court could hear the seller's side as well.  You can find one person who won a case like (check the Yahoo search engine) that back in August of 2006 against eBay and the seller and got their seller's comment removed.  It was in Santa Clara County, if you ever need to do one of those forms.  The other way to solve the problem is change your account name (eBay allows you to do that)...now whether comments left change over to the new name or not I don't know....I gave up.

I can tell you if by chance you bring up a situation in an ebay forum the owners of the forum are not eBay and they run the forum on the basis that if anyone bullies you then you the bullied is removed and the bulliers are allowed to continue their rant against you.  You can see the rants but you can't participate any longer.  And if you try to get their legal office to comply they will tell you they know nothing about what is transpiring or has transpired.  So, those are the few ways to get things off your account and try to solve things.  Now if that is in your best interest or not is up to you to decide.  Most people think like I did that the website owners are responsible, when in reality they aren't.  You use the websites at your own risk (and with your own attorney).

  2. What does this have to do with the envirorment?

  3. It's not fun when you have to censor yourself.  The situation there is somewhat like here where you need to watch what you say and don't make accusations about others or use poor language.  Sometimes on either site I feel like someone is just being a jerk and rather than getting in a electronic shouting match with them, I just let it go.  I would suggest you will be happier in the long run if you refrain from speaking your mind too loudly.  If you are super irritated, create a throwaway identity and then make your comments.
