  1. well first of all to use prisma's effect you must have at least 1 of each fusion monster listed in the fusion monster's text.

    for example:

destiny end dragoon requires both destiny hero plasma and dogma so you must have at least 1 of each of those monsters in your deck to use prisma, not just one or the other.

so in order to use prisma properly use must show your opponent the fusion monster you wish to summon first, then declare one of the monsters in the fusion monster's text, next send the declared monster to the graveyard and then prisma's name is treated as the monster you just sent.

    example:

i have destiny hero dogma, elemental hero prisma, and polymerization in my hand. i summon prisma, show my opponent my destiny end dragoon in my extra deck, declare destiny hero plasma and then send plasma from my deck to my graveyard, therefore prisma is now treated as plasma and i can now summon my destiny end dragoon properly. hope this helps.

  2. Ok, I dont really understand what you mean by that. To use Elemental Hero Prisma you must show your opponent a Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck and select one of the Fusion Material Monsters writen on it. You then send a monster card from your deck to your graveyard with the same name, then Elemental Hero Prisma's name changes to that one for the remainder of the turn. So, if you were missing the Fusion Monster in your extra deck you would have no point of reference to select a monster to discard from your deck, and if you were missing the monster card in your deck you would simply reshuffle your deck, after you and your opponent checked to see that you really didnt have the selected monster. Prisma's effect makes it so that he counts as the selected monster, so it is also possible to use Fusion Substitutes as well unless the fusion monster's summon condition forbids it. And just incase you meant something else, you are allowed to have any fusion monster in your extra deck, even if you dont have the nessecary cards to summon it.

  3. Your question is a bit confusing, but I think I understood it.

The way Prisma works is that you choose a Fusion monster in your deck, show it to your opponent, then go through your deck and discard it to the graveyard.  For the remainder of the turn, Prisma's name counts as the selected card.  In Gladiator Beasts, they use it to quickly summon Gyzarus or Heraklinos by using Contact Fusion with Prisma.  In other decks, people use Prisma's effect to just simply get certain monsters in the graveyard.  They don't use Prisma or the Fusion monster to actually Fusion Summon.  So think of Prisma as a Foolish Burial in monster form.  You are allowed to have Fusions in your Extra Deck without actually having both, if not any, of the monsters required.  So in your question you make reference to people using Prisma, showing Grand Neos to discard Grand Mole, but not actually having E-Hero Neos in their deck.  They do that specifically to get Grand Mole in the graveyard so they can Special Summon him somehow which is easier to do then waiting to draw him from the deck.  Another example of this is that some Gladiator Beast players will add Sanwitch to their Extra Deck even though they will never summon it as Witch of the Black Forest is banned.  They add it for the sole purpose of getting Sangan in the graveyard with Prisma's effect.

I know this was a long explanation, but I hope I cleared it up a bit.
