how do you create an e-mail for example...

i want to put something there instead of AOL or hotmail... for free??

any ideas

If I were you I would use yahoo. I use e-mail from yahoo all the time, it works great and i don't have to pay a thing!

no thats .. who your email is registered with -you cant change that bit after the @

but yahoo has some new ones -they now have  @ymail.com  and   @rocketmail.com

mozilla brought out an email program aswell which you could try

don't know of anyway to do it for free cause the part your wanting to customize would be the domain so you would have to own that domain name which you could do through godaddy.com but then you would have to bay for another service to host your e-mail.

You can create a yahoo email or a google email account for free.  

www.yahoo.com

www.google.com

you have to have server account hotmail, yahoo etc.

you can do me@[e-mail] but people are likely to

misread it.

the best email addresses are those without numbers or underscores

etc and are easy ie;[e-mail]

i have to type a lot of email addresses for work and some are a nightmare - working out  is it a 1 or an I or a L.keep it simple
