E-mail just friends?

is it safe to e-mail some one you don't know?or to e-mail multiple people daily

Don't know as in how?  Don't know them completely?  If so, I perhaps being a little paranoid about doing it, but don't be so paranoid you won't do it.  Perhaps get them as an Instant messaging friend, and talk to them.  That'd be the way i suggest, but emailing is fine too.  You'll get to know them a little bit better as you continue to talk to them, and then you may not have to worry as much!
