E405 screen alignment

Question

Hi,Everytime I turn on my Toshiba 405 it goes returns to screen alignment. There is a scratch on the screen and I have searched everywhere for a replacement screen but cannot find one. I am not sure I can replace it with a non-toshiba screen even if the size is the same? Any help is welcomed. I bought this a year ago at HHGregg and it was a demo that worked about 4 times before it started the alignment issue. I am fairly good at repairing equipment and figuring out problems but cannot get any information on this LCD. Thanks,Tina
