E74 but told microsoft it was 3 rrod will they still fix it?

hey my lil brother's 360 had 1 red ring on it (e74) and he told ms that it was the 3 red ring thing so they sent him a box and he shipped it to them not to long ago are they gonna fix it anyway>? he says other people did it and got away with it

They should do a compete analysis on your xbox 360 so don't worry.  If you get it back and it still doesn't work.  You should be able to send it back in for free.
