EA has stop selling Maddens for PC as well as Tiger Wood golf. Will NHL09 be next?

The early indication is that PC version will come late but NHL08 just wasnt worth it because EA barely tried (i own NHL98, NHL05,NHL06,NHL08 all for pc and i think 08 verison i play the less because they dont even bug to give a roster update and while other console are getting nice graphic, the graphic same as ever and i cant even play goalie mode)

so i had mix feeling thinking they either give up on PC market or they were overwhelmed by the anger and frustration so they are now taking more time to get the PC version out)

  1. That's just the kind of thing I'd expect from EA Games, they are very unreliable. I would not be surprised to see them stop releasing NHL games on the PC, especially if they stopped making more popular sports games like Madden for the PC. Sports games tend to sell better on consoles, since a PC requires top of the line hardware to play new games. An 8 year old PS2 can play new games coming out for the PS2, while an 8 year old PC with 8 year old hardware will most likely not play new PC games.

Keep in mind, though, that EA stopped plans for releasing some games onto consoles as well. Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, was supposed to come out for the PC, 360, and PS3, but it has been canceled until further notice for the PS3.
