The only thing that is going to happen in 2012 is we are all going to get a year older. As for global waring that depends upon weather or not the human race can come together and get their head out of their *** and do something about it. To be continued.

You are certainly not the only one who cares about global warming.  There are millions of us.  We just have to convince the others to believe in these real effects rather than phony predictions about 2012 and its alleged catastrophes.  They aren't going to happen.

Planet X / Niburu - It doesn't exist.  When it didn't show up as predicted for 2003, the doomsday predictors just moved it out to 2012 to coincide with the end of the Mayan calendar cycle.

Mayan calendar - It was calculated in cycles or ages.  There was no prediction for the end of the world.  Since they already had their calendar calculated out to about 500 years past the end of their civilization, they never got to add any more cycles.

The asteroid Apophis (2004MN4) – This asteroid doesn't have a chance of hitting us until 2036 and that is only a very small chance.  Since it is only about 320 meters across, the destruction would be limited to a region around the impact point if it did hit.  NEO/JPL/NASA are watching it and plotting new points in its orbit all the time

Alignment with the Galactic Center - We will be 6 degrees off from true alignment.  The actual alignment was for 1998.  It happens over a 36 year period and we are 10 years past actual alignment.

Planetary alignment - May 5, 2000. The five classical planets plus the Sun and Moon spanned 26°, their closest separation since 1962 and their closest until 2675. The odds strongly favor that an exact planetary alignment will NEVER occur throughout the entire history of the solar system.  Even if it could, the pull of gravity is determined by the mass of the object and the distance squared.  The gravitational pull of all the planets combined equals only a small fraction of that of our moon.

Polar shift – this is happening all the time. And we don’t notice.  A complete 180 degree reversal occurs over a period of thousands of years.

Nostradamus - Everyone thought Nostradamus predicted doomsday for the millennium and it didn't happen.  He wrote in such riddles that even Nostradamus scholars can't agree on what he meant.

I think we can stop worrying about 2012 because it is just one more doomsday pediction out of the many that have gone on throughout history and has nothing to back it up.
