  1. why would you need to?  chlorine is bad for your eyes..  I look around under water all the time, but then my eyes end up all red and irritated..

  2. I can never open my eyes underwater either. Its because of all the chlorine in a pool and I have sensitive eyes. I would guess that the chlorine is irritating your eyes and so it makes it really hard to open them. I would suggest getting some goggles so you can still open your eyes and not get the red irritated eyes after you're done swimming. It worked for me!

  3. It is because of chlorine.  Chlorine is a bit of a strong chemical; making it difficult to open your eyes - and if you do, your eyes turn red.  To avoid this, use goggles.

  4. use goggles.

  5. depends on where your swimming. if it's in a chlorinated pool it could be caused by the chlorine. if it's at a beach or lake it could be caused by the different things in the water. also if your eyes are sensitive. i have no problem keeping my eyes open but my best friend can't because her eyes are more sensitive. another factor could be the sun. underwater the brightness of the sun increases and makes it even more difficult to keep your eyes open. there's really no way i can think to just start being able to open your eyes under water. i started swimming at a young age for a swim club and had just kinda gotten used to goggles falling off and having to deal with it. i hope you figure this out.

  6. Dont try 2 open your eyes underwater... its bad 4 ur eyes... just go to the store and get sum gogles...

  7. dont wear contacts in water

squint first, it will sting for a second, just hold open. if it doesnt stop stinging after 5 seconds you may have a thin cornea, see your eye doctor
