how long on average does it take to start a skateboarding career from starter to sponsered and from sponsered to pro? just curious i reckon i wont even be able to get sponsered lol but how longs it take and how much pay i skate for fun but my teacher asked us to do an essay on turning a hobby to job so i need to know plz!!! ^-^

It takes a while to start skateing and to get sponsored. If you do try local skateshop like small family owned ones. But skateboarding is hard and it takes a long time to learn tricks. And remember if you are reading this you should be out practicing.

Its not how long it takes its how long you take to learn the tricks and how to get them down but if you really wanna count the years it takes to add all the tricks up I'd say the avaregage is about 5-10-16 years

if you are just starting then it will take you a few years before you would be good enough for a sponsor. probably around 2-4 years before you would get noticed too. xx
