plese take a look at the link below which shows my ebay feedback

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=jtsnoveltygiftssince2008&ftab=AllFeedback&sspagename=STRK:ME:UFS

as you can see a member left me feedback this morning (neg feedback) in error if you read her coments you can clearly see that she meant them for someone who purchased from her she only purchased the item from me and paid saturday and i posted last night so i really think this is an error is there any way this feedback could be removed.

would this work if i refund her payment then open an upaid item dispute even though she will respond i close the dispute and she gets and upaid item strike will the feedback be removed then. i would never do anything like this usually but it really annoys me when people cant check before damaging another persons reputation thanks in adavce

  1. First thing I'd do is email customer services and explain the situation, I've always found them quite helpful with little things like this ^^ Hope you get it removed.

  2. The person that left you negative feedback sold two lots recently and it looks as though her comment was probably meant for one of those.

Your buyer can't remove the feedback herself, nor is the 'mutual withdrawal' option available any longer (eBay ended that a few months ago).

You can see here the circumstances in which you can request that eBay remove the feedback.

    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/fe...

It is possible to get it removed if

**The comment, reply or follow-up references a completely separate transaction or unrelated experience**

There is a 'report' link on that page (near  the bottom) and you need to get the person that left the feedback to use that and then on the next page, select 'I left negative feedback for the wrong member'.

It should all go through automatically if you can get her to use that 'report' link - then keep your fingers crossed that she manages to select the correct reason.

If she can't manage to get that right, then sorry, but you'll have to live with it.  You could try appealing yourself, but even if they take notice at all, eBay would still need her to confirm things.

Assuming that the negative was meant to be left for one of her buyers, you could get on her good side by suggesting that she start a UPI to get her fee back - she's new to selling and probably doesn't know about disputes yet.

An advanced search to see what she's sold, and a check of her feedback will tell you where the problem most likely is.

(By the way, don't even think about going down that refund route you suggest, as you'll only be inviting more trouble.)

  3. Yes there is if you speak to those incharge or ebay they will be able to remove this feedback as long as they have proof that your not trying to scam them. The only problem is people will be able to see all removed comments.

  4. Ask your buyer to remove the feedback and do so nicely.

  5. Mutual withdrawal is dead at least until October (unless you live in Germany).  The only way to get it removed for now is to make sure that your buyer leaves exactly the same negative feedback for the correct buyer then contact customer service.  However since buyer feedback as been eliminated that won't be possible.

Don't do the UPI thing as that could be seen as abuse and get you suspended.

  6. Contact ebay   via there respond to feedback

Its hard to find,  but an experienced ebayer like you should know the system

Both mutually agree to remove feedback

  7. There used to be a way to mutually withdraw feedback. Not sure it this still exists, maybe contact ebay or ask in the ebay forums
