And if they haven't used paypal, then sometimes you just have to wait for the cheque to arrive if you allow this as a payment option.

Go into your paypal account and see if the money (their payment) is there in your account....

Don't rely on the little 'paid' icon in ebay because a buyer can click that they have paid for the item when really they haven't.   Don't rely on the email from Paypal saying you have received payment either, because that can be faked.

If they pay by Paypal, it will be in your Paypal account.

If they pay by cheque, you will receive a cheque in the post.

If they pay by postal order, you will receive a postal order in the post.

If they pay by bank transfer, you will see the money in your on-line bank statement.

If they pay by cash on collection, you will receive the money in your hand.

Simple, really...
