i won something a week ago & when she email me her address and phone number she added she couldn't do pick up through the week & she lived about an hour away from me. so i was going to go today (sunday) & anyway I'm more than haft way there & i get a txt message saying sorry i wont be able to make it home.. that really pissed me off!

neway just wondering if that's reason enough for me 2 leave negative feedback & not complete the sale? b'cos I'm not about to waste another $20 on petrol cos she should have been there the first time..

  1. yes it is.

you shouldn't do the whole pickup thing though, especially on ebay. just because there are no guarantees, and the gas you spend will probably equal the shipping.

however if you tell her ur gonna leave negative feedback then she will probably be willing to strike a deal with you

  2. You're still obligated to complete the transaction, no matter how much of a douche the seller may be.  But you can certainly leave negative feedback.  I'd recommend waiting until your item is in your hands before doing so.

Maybe just get it shipped to you instead of trying to pick it up.

  3. Why are you taking it to them? You've done your part and already lost money-you need to have then P/U or negate the sale so you can put it up at auction again. You need to put-pick-up only on your auction-in absolute terms. REad all tutorials-Ebay is not at fault for this-bad planning will cost your profit!

  4. That's why I don't use E-bay.  I think the feedback is stupid.  I would rather just buy something and have it shipped to the house without all that added c**p.
