I'm selling an item and so far it has 3 hours to go and its only on 99 cents. i really want to sell this item so is it allowed for me to ask the ONE and only bidder how much they are willing to pay. I REALLY want to sell this item.

  1. Um if your worried about selling an item for 99cents. Message Ebay and be like "Someone stole this item" they should take it off dude.


  2. If you are selling an item on an auction you have to sell it to the highst bidder no matter what the price is.  Next time, if you want to sell an item for more, use a reserve price or start at a higer price.  That is Ebay's sellers policies. I know it sucks.

  3. You should have started at a price you would be happy to accept.  You have no choice but to hope the price goes up before the auction ends.  Don't even think about asking how much a bidder is willing to pay.  Unfortunately, that information is none of your business, no matter how much you want to know it!  If this goes for 99 cents, then send it to the person graciously and take note to set a minimum cost next time.

    I see you've added that you set a reserve price.  In that case your under no obligation to sell at 99 cents.

  4. If it's an item of any real value, snipers will pick it up in the last minute. If not, don't sweat it, it wasn't worth what you thought it was.
