I am new to selling on EBAY! I didn't know which shipping offer to use so I just picked the flat rate box shipping. When the sale ends do I HAVE to use this shipping or can I use something else??

  1. The other problem besides the speed that will concern users is that some people live in remote areas, or have to drive a long distance to pick up their mail from other services, so by stating only 1 certain type of shipping, some might be depending on it arriving with the post office rather than UPS.  Your best bet is to ask the buyer if they have a preference in service, however not in the time it gets there.

  2. Its unfair to the customer if you ship it slower than what you advertised.  But I'm sure you won't get any complaints if you ship it faster.

  3. There is a whole section on shipping.  You really need to know what you are doing before you start selling.  Flat rate box shipping a a USPS service and if a buyer is paying for Flat rate, you should send it flat rate.   Go to USPS.com and learn.

  4. You have to use that shipping or something faster.  You can't charge for 2-3 day shipping and then ship parcel or 1st class mail.  You would get tore up and then kicked off ebay if you made a habit of it.

  5. I need more information to help you - like what you are shipping and how much it weighs.
