Free shipping and items that sell for a penny. Not sure if I'm just being really dense but how can they possibly make any money? They have good feedback too so it's obviously not a scam.

  1. Most of it is bankrupt stock. How do you think the £ and the 99p shop get their stuff? Some of the stuff you couldn't buy at the wholesalers at that price.

  2. Because they are charging nearly £32 p and p for their popular items!!

  3. They get the items for a good price and then sell it on eBay

  4. They probably get good deals from the manufactures and sell it cheap, hoping the price of the auction will go up.

  5. I have sold on ebay for years and yeah you sell it for a penny to catch the eye of the person and then offer free shipping as a hook so people will bid , most items will usually go up to at least 20 before the end of a bid i have had items go up to 85.00 dollars before the end of the bid some people just like to bid to bid and get into bidding wars especially around Christmas time , last Christmas I made over 400 dollars off eBay in just one night i made over 800 over a two week period , you can never be sure how much you will make most peoples mistake when they first start is not knowing how much some thing is worth and charging to much, what you pay in the store will never go on ebay cause people shop ebay for a deal so you have to know how much it will sell for on ebay

  6. They make money by charging 32 quid postage on some of their other items!

  7. They bulk buy items and then on other items they raise their prices slightly just to cover the cost. It's good marketing

look at some of the other items, it never costs nearly £40 to send a phone. i bought an Nintendo Ds of ebay it came from Chine, they charged me £20 postage and it didn't even cost £7 when it came.
