EBay... I need help.?

Question

I placed a bid on this information package on ebay for 99p (i live in the uk) and someone outbid me, fortunately they had another on there so i placed a bid on that, and now the person had somehow cancelled there bid on the first one I bid for, so now i'm bidding on two things that i only need one of. does anyone know what to do?

You are allowed to take back a bid on Ebay with a good reason. Just email the seller and tell him the circumstance.

Click on the bid history in the item description page then click on retract bid - simple as that.

just retract your bid on one of them

I am sceptic about this system of buying through bidding. I do not really find any benefit out of it.Whatever you want to buy, you can do in the market and avoid this kind of complication.

You're obligated to buy any items you win.  Fortunately 99p is cheap.

In the meantime, report the seller of the first item for shill bidding.  It might not be.  If it isn't, no harm done.  If it is, the item (and possibly the seller) will disappear.
