Question:

EBay Second Offers? Help?

hello,

I was wandering, If I sold an item and the highest bidder is a few days late for payment and I decide to send out a second offer.

If that second offer is accepted, can the highest bidder still pay for the item or does it cancel it out once the second offer is accepted?

thanks

  1. The highest bidder can still pay for the item.  You have to give the first bidder 7 days to pay.  If they do not pay in that time frame you will file an unpaid item on ebay against the highest bidder.  You will then have to wait a few days for them to reply.  Close out the unpaid item strike (UPI)  That will give the original bidder a strike on their record for not paying, and will refund your final value fees.

Then send a second chance offer the the next highest bidder.

If the highest bidder has told you they will not pay, send out the second chance offer but still file the unpaid item against the original bidder to get your fees back.
