  1. Very possibly - it could be that you get paid via PP with a credit card, ship the item then discover that it was a fraudulently used card. Oh and make sure you only ever ship to the PP address too.  Be careful.

  2. I'm not sure I understood everything you said but it is ebay policy to never make a transaction outside of ebay. It stinks.

  3. Umm yes. My sister has gotten ripped off a few times on ebay with c**p like this. He is breaking the ebay rules for one thing. Don't even chance it. You can find a legit buyer!

  4. talk to e-bay first and see what they tell you to do.I got scammed out of a xbox 360 i won and paid for and still have not recieved yae and that was christmas. So make sure you have him go throuh pay pal and ebay

  5. i bet it is. i wouldnt do it, just to be on the safe side. or tell him that you will, but only through ebay.

  6. If this buyer is suggesting you end the listing so that you can sell it to him, that is  against Ebay's rules, and he may be a decoy for ebay to see if you will take the bait. If the item has already ended and you did not receive any bids, and he has good feedback, you can offer to list the item at a "buy it now" price of what he is offering, and send him the link to the listing to do so.

  7. No, because if he sent you the money through PayPal before you shipped the item to him, then he cannot reverse his payment to you.

PayPal is safe on your part if he sent you the money before you shipped it (which is what is supposed to happen anyway).

In fact, he should be worried, not you. If he sent the money, you can easily withdraw it and not give him the item (course PayPal would own you for that).

  8. i would email ebay, and report it.

  9. Never deal with a person directly. Have them go through PayPal or whatever payment method as the middle man. If you send them direct payment (or direct item) they will keep the item and never be seen again.

This is the ONLY reason a person will ever ask you for direct shipment of item or money. It's ulterior from the start.

I'm a huge e-shopper, but eBay is one place I have always been suspicious of.

You can easily just wait for other bids.
