EBay concern before registration?

when I buy an item on ebay, how can I know that I will receive the product and, in case that I make a claim because I did not receive my product, how does eBay knows that I'm actually telling the truth that I did not receive the product to get my money back?

As both a buyer and a seller, i would suggest checking the seller's feedback (it is located in the top right corner of listing). On top of that some of the things you can use to make sure you're transaction is safe. Read the COMPLETE listing, dont just scan over it.  also make sure to check what type of payment method is requested and accepted ('paypal' is the safest) and also whether or not the seller offers money back guaranties or similar refunds if your aren't satisfied with  your product. But the number one suggestion i can give you is go with your gut feeling.
