I was on eBay trying to bid on a sundress, and it said that I couldn't because I didn't have a PayPal account. Does that mean I cant use cash to pay?

  1. Paypal required means you need a paypal account to bid, but you can still pay for the item with any method the seller specifies in the auction.

  2. It's all up to the seller,if they are willing to take  a credit card ,cheque or money order. I think the safest way for both buyer and seller is Pay Pal. You give your credit card once to Pay Pal and never to the sellers .Check with Pay Pal for other options if you don't have a credit card. NEVER deal in cash,to risky..not everyone is as honest as we would like to believe.

  3. Each seller has the option of deciding how they want to be paid. Some select PayPal only since it is the safest.

  4. Yes, it wouldn't allow you because the seller only accepts paypal as payment, so if you want the item you would have to set up a paypal account/
