I am kind of new to eBay and I had some questions with selling:

How do I make people want to buy my items?

How do I put a cool background on my listings?

Is it possible to put pictures on there without it costing money? (Such as HTML)

What are good shipping prices?

What price should I start my items at?

And anything else you can help me with.

How do I put a cool background on my listings?

As a gold level powerseller, I don't do this and I would advise against you doing it.

The first picture is free to upload and each additional is $.15 with discounts for multiple picture storage bought.

What are good shipping prices?

Totally depends on the item being sold.

What price should I start my items at?

Totally depends on the item being sold. Most of my items are sold with fixed prices (AKA "buy-it-now") but when I do live auctions it totally depends on the item being offered where I start the bidding and whether or not I use a reserve.
