ECB announce schedule for 2012 India tour – Cricket News Update

The England cricket team, most probably under http://www.senore.com/Cricket/AJ-Strauss-c964, will reach India in October to play four Tests against in November-December this year. This will be the first time since England dethroned India as the World No. 1 Test
side in August last year, that both the outfits will play each other in a Test series. The four-match Test series will be preceded by three warm-up games. The initial two practice matches will be hosted by Mumbai while the third will be played in Ahmedabad.
The four Tests between India and England, starting from November 15, will be played in Ahmedabad, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820, Kolkata and Nagpur.
"This will be England's first full tour of India since 2008 and I am sure that cricket fans in both countries will be eagerly anticipating an exciting series of contests in all three formats of the game," ECB managing director Hugh
Morris said on Tuesday.
The Test series will be followed by two T20 Internationals. Both the T20Is will be floodlight fixtures, to be staged in Pune an Mumbai on December 20 and 22.
The five-match One Day International series will be played next year, with the first ODI at Rajkot on January 11, 2013. The next four one-day games will be played at Kochi, Ranchi, Dharamsala and Mohali. All of the five ODIs will
be day and night fixtures.
Furthermore, the Poms are also scheduled to play two practices matches before the ODI series, on January 6 and 8. The venues for the one-day practice matches are yet to be decided.

2nd tour match: November 3 to 5, at Mumbai, BKC
3rd tour match: November 8 to 11, at Ahmedabad, SPS Navrangpura
1st Test Match: November 15 to 19, at Ahmedabad, Motera
2nd Test Match: November 23 to 27, at Mumbai, Wankhede Stadium
3rd Test Match: December 5 to 9, at Kolkata, Eden Gardens
4th Test: December 13 to 17, at Match Nagpur
T20 series:
1st T20 (floodlight): December 20 at Pune
2nd T20 (floodlight): December 22 at Mumbai, Wankhede Stadium
One Day International series:
1st tour match (D/N, 50 overs): January 6 at Venue tbc
2nd tour match (50 overs): January 8 at Venue tbc
1st ODI (D/N): January 11 at Rajkot
2nd ODI (D/N): January 15 at Kochi
3rd ODI (D/N): January 19 at Ranchi
4th ODI (D/N): January 23 at Dharamshala
5th ODI (D/N): January 27 at Mohali
