ECE or computer science? ?

Question

Which field has better job oppurtunities among ECE and computer science?

And if i take computer science, will i have a security for job in future? Because they say there wont be importance for I.T. industry in future,as there are lot of engineers.

Please tell me which course is better in terms of getting jobs.

i was in d same dilemma wen i chose d course....according 2 me b confident of ur course first n then abt d job opportunities...both d courses r gud according 2 me...u choose d course IN WHICH U R MUCH INTERESTED......bt my opinion is choosing E.C.E to be on the safer side.....dont mistake me if iam wrong...

If you take ECE you can go both in software and hardware side whereas computerscience only on software side so to always be one step ahead take ECE....

ECE has many more opportunities both education and career wise. You can have different concentrations within the ECE major. Also, ECE majors, can work in many different industries.

firstly u shld be intrested in the course u r joining. If u r interested in both, with no doubt go for e.c.e because it includes software, hardware and communication at present we know that these three are in great boom. if u go for c.s.c then u shld stuck with software field and a part of electronics.

I am a CSIT student from JNTU,so i say that CSE or CSIT  is good option for the reason like, you get to know latest technologies like WT,MWT,ES,OS and many other,

also check ISC for the syallbus of both ECE and CSE
